CAST YOUR BREAD UPON THE WATER {Ecclesiastes 11:1}

1. Cast Your Bread Upon The Water, (Ecclesiastes 11:1)

Cast your cares upon the Lord, (1 Peter 5:7)

Seek Him like you ain’t never,

Sought the Lord before. (Matthew 7:7)

 

Cast Your Bread Upon The Water,

And He will Strike the Seven Streams, (Isaiah 11:15)

Raise up Seven Shepherds, (Mica 5:5)

Eight Warriors and a King.  ( Mica 5:5, Revelation 1:6)

 

Partaker of His Nature;  (2Peter 1:4)

You will wonder how It came, (John 3:8)

When out of dark and stormy skies,

Blessings fall like rain. (Joel 2:23)

 

2. So, Cast Your Bread Upon The Water,

Venture out before the storm, (Nahum 1:1,2,3, Matthew 14:24-31)

Out into the Great Beyond (Acts 2:4)

Where you ain’t never been before. (Luke 10;1-20)

You have been Born Again (1 John 5:4, John 3:3-8)

To walk in Spirit and in Truth, (John 4:24, Galatians 5:16-18)

Through the hearts and souls of men. (Philippians 1:27)

♦ THE BREAKDOWN ♦  “Seven” is the Biblical number designating “Perfection”. “Eight”, the Biblical number designating “Completion”.  “Seven Shepherds” is a Hebrew catchphrase describing the “Perfect Shepherd.” “Eight Warriors” is a Hebrew catchphrase that describes the “Complete Warrior“, (Micah 5″5).  In Isaiah 11:15, “Strike the Seven Streams” is the Hebrew catchphrase for “Drying Up the Euphrates”, which simply means “Removing All Obstacles.”  The term “King” as applied in Revelation 1:6 & 5:10 states that, under Christ, we are Kings and Priests to God, and will not only rule and reign with Him in the Age to Come, but also are to fulfil the office of “kings and priests”, “ambassadors”, if you will, who bring His Divine Providence, “His Kingdom come, His Will to be Be Done In Earth as it is in Heaven” (Matthew 6:10) IN THIS AGE,  by the Power of the Holy Spirit, which can only be accomplished by those who move, operate, and flow in The Gifts of the Spirit by FAITH! These, and these alone are “Partakers of His Divine Nature”. (2 Peter 1:4) Everything else is nothing more than  a “…form of godliness; godless, yet with a form of godliness; man-made religions², void of the Spirit.”  (Jude 1:19) 

The “Seven Shepherds”, the “Eight Warriors”, and the “King” are but the Distinguishing Attributes of Jesus Christ that, throughout our lives on earth, are being restored in those who LOVE HIM and Abide in the Secret Place of the Most High.  If we are truly Born Again of the Spirit, we are, day by day, being transformed by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, into the Image and Likeness in which we were originally created, the Image and Likeness (Genesis 1:26) of Christ, which we forfeited in “The Fall”. Yes, those who Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High are, hands-down, or should I say, hands raised, “Partakers of His Divine Nature”. (2 Peter 1:4)

SUMMARY:

IF

We Cast our Bread Upon the Water,

And our cares upon the Lord,

Seek Him like we ain’t never

Sought the Lord before;

He will, indeed, Strike the Seven Streams

Raise Up (within us) Seven Shepherds,

Eight Warriors and a King.

 

♦ THE BREAKDOWN ♦  Becoming “Born Again”, truly “Born Again of the Spirit, the Spirit, the Spirit“, is a most miraculous step out of the clutches of this present, evil world and a most wondrous Introduction into the Kingdom of God. Still, it is but the First Step, the Entrance, (2 Peter 1:11) into becoming a “Partaker of His Divine Nature” (2Peter 1:4).   If we Cast Our Bread Upon The Water (Ecclesiastes 11:1), Our Cares upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7) and continually Draw Nigh unto that Friend that Sticks Closer than a Brother (James 4:8), and Faithfully, through the thick and through the thin, Seek Him like we ain’t never Sought the Lord before (Matthew 7:7), He will indeed, just for us, “Strike the Seven Streams (begin to remove obstacles and hinderances that would obstruct our ability to Walk in the Spirit and be Partakers of His Divine Nature), (Isaiah 11:15) …and Raise up within us, Seven Shepherds, Eight Warriors and a King (Mica 5:5, Revelation 1:6).

Raising up Seven Shepherds, Eight Warriors, and a King is nothing less than restoring in us the Image and Likeness of Jesus, making us “Partakers of His Divine Nature”. To do so, He will certainly, just for us, “Strike the Seven Streams”.

“For it is written, the eye has not seen nor has the ear heard, neither has it ever entered into the heart of the natural² man, the astounding² things which God has prepared for those that LOVE HIM…In this Age and in the Ages to come (Mark 10:30). This, of course, is for the ones who will Cast their Bread Upon the Water.” (1 Corinthians 2:9, Ecclesiastes 11:1).

Without a doubt, those who “Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High” (Psalm 91:1) are Hands Down, and Hands Raised, “Partakers of His Divine Nature”. (2 Peter 1:4)
