¶ This is Will Callery, and this is LETTERS FROM OVER YONDER. You are listening to A POD, FASHIONED OVER YONDER.
¶ Why? Because this is the Birth of a New Podcast that came forth out of the womb of LETTERS FROM OVER YONDER. This “Pod” has indeed been Fashioned Over Yonder, where the Letters came from. Hopefully, one or two will open (be published) weekly to help clear the atmosphere of all the noisome pestilence released by the Prince of the Power of the Air into what was once, many years ago, a much more Pristine, Celestial, Breathable Sphere of Peace, more akin to The Shades of Eden than the Mephistophelian Fog of today. (Psalm 9:3)
¶ This particular Pod, Fashioned Over Yonder, and all of the following Pods that are to be released into the Atmosphere of this Nation throughout the coming year, by Yours Truly, did, in All Truth, come from Seed that was Sown, did Bloom, and was Pollinated Over Yonder, by the Spirit of God, and do, without question, contain Divine Origins for the Next Generation of those who will Walk, in Spirit and in Truth, through the Thick and through the Thin. (John 4:23,24)
¶ This Pod, Fashioned Over Yonder, is entitled, THE ADVENTURES OF AN OUTLAW IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, which is also the title of my Book, THE ADVENTURES OF AN OUTLAW IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, a Work that I would, at this time, like to address.
♥ That said, it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Six Brothers and a Sister, all Seasoned Servants of the Lord. Among them are some who have been severely tested in the face of death and persecution and found to be Tried and True to our Lord, Jesus Christ. I am truly honored that they have taken the time to search out and critique the treasures hidden between the covers of this ADVENTURE just for you.
Let’s look into what it is they have to say…
…beginning with the FORWARD of the book, laid out by Ronnie “Herald” Phillips, which reads;
♠ My dear friend Will has crafted an epic true tale of the glorious God, who seeks out unworthy sinners such as you and me with a wonderful saving grace.
I greatly appreciate Will’s heart of transparency, openness, and humility in writing so freely and honestly. Will’s story in this book is the account of a journey for a wholeness we all search to obtain, keeping in mind that we were created for the purpose of God and not our own. Our personal stories may not be the same as his, but the search, when read in the pages of this book, will seem very familiar to each of us.
“The Adventures of an Outlaw in the Kingdom of God” is a personal story of a young man in an iconic American heartland during simpler times of long ago. Will paints the picture of sweet memories we all can identify with ourselves; to reach the height of fame and fortune, a lifestyle with no boundaries (but at the same time), no earthly hope, and still, be retrieved by the unfailing love of our God in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is an amazing story! It reveals the unseen hand of a holy God who seeks each of us out by his ever-pursuing Holy Spirit. Here, (in The Adventures of an Outlaw In The Kingdom of God), the reader is presented with a clear story about a God who loves us so faithfully.
My friend Will has been blessed with the gift of words as a songwriter, but this is more than the penmanship of a talented man – this is a revelation of hope where it appears there is no hope.
May we all be encouraged to receive this message about undeserving sinners such as ourselves. (One of the Main Themes of Will’s book is), There is no such thing as a hopeless case!
If this book finds you on the same journey, let the personal account of a fellow journeyman enlighten your way.
Ronnie “Herald” Phillips, Former Senior Pastor for David Wilkerson at Lindale, Texas & Times Square Church in New York City, the President of Mission Africa, USA, a Non-Profit Organization, and current Senior Pastor of Relevant Faith Church, in Owensboro. KY.
♠ Of THE ADVENTURES OF AN OUTLAW IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, Joel Richardson says: “Come, take a journey into the life story of the multiplatinum singer-songwriter Will Callery, as he tells a powerful tale of divine intervention and God’s unfailing love.” —Joel Richardson
¶ Will Callery, aka Billy C. of Old, is a Multiplatinum singer-songwriter whose songs have sold over fifty million copies.
A Brief Discography of a few of his notable Songs that were written and recorded back in the day, includes…
Hands On The Wheel: Which was first recorded by Willie Nelson on his Red Headed Stranger Album (the Album that shot Willie up into the Galaxy of Superstardom),
It was then recorded by Jerry Jeff Walker, Nora Jones, Lucas Nelson, Robert Redford (The Electric Horseman), Kevin Costner (Yellowstone), which I have never laid eyes on and never will, Dale Earnhardt (Documentary), Judy Mayhan, and Walt Wilkins, to name a few.
The First Showboat, The Pot Can’t Call The Kettle Black, Leroy, Pass It On, & Hands On The Wheel were all recorded by Jerry Jeff Walker back in the day when he and Billy C. ran with the Phantoms of the Night, of which Will (Billy C) was delivered out of over 40 years ago
♠ Francis Frangipane goes on to say: “There remains a place for each of us in the heart of God. Mr. Callery has found that place.” — Francis Frangipane, author
♠ Will Callery’s book: “The Adventures of an Outlaw in the Kingdom of God,” is a very vivid & candid account of a personal life journey; cheer-led by the world into a grand illusion of fame, prosperity, drugs, and the like; yet running away from the same when no one seems to be chasing. Sometimes you think you have arrived, yet GOD’s saying this is not the place, and He keeps you moving until you finally arrive where He wants you. It’s an excellent read with broad appeal for anyone looking for true meaning in life. —Gilman I. Yumaa, Board Chair, Agape Ministries for Christ International (A Dear Friend whose life ♥ is On-The-Line daily, in Africa. Gilman is also a phenomenal singer-songwriter, and Praise & Worship Leader.)
Painting by Dirk A. Walker
¶ Taking into consideration the cover of the book, a most impressive painting by Artist, Dirk A. Walker, it has been said that “One picture is worth a thousand words”, and Ain’t It So!, However, the flip side of that coin is that “The Word of God can paint tens of thousands of pictures upon the canvass of a heart” and so I ask, as I always do, for Divine Intervention as I search the libraries of heaven for a down-to-earth, true-to-life, yet divine narrative that would paint upon the hearts of Skeptics the Might, the Power, the Majesty, the Splendor and the Overwhelming, Cascading Goodness of Jesus Christ, our Returning King, and as always, I come up short, and so I ask the Spirit of God for insight into the Wonders of the Age to Come that I might impress upon the hearts of the Deceived Believer, the Unbeliever, and the God-hater alike, the Love, the Goodness, the Wonders, and the Power of the Kingdom of God, as opposed to the beautiful but deadly, enticing deceptions of this Present Evil World. Still, at times I struggle and so, I forever return to search God’s ultimate Library, the Scriptures, for they were inspired by Him, that I might come across a Word or two that would touch a heart or two of the ones I left behind and those like them that I’ve not yet met, you know, the deceivers, believers, and old inbetweeners, the gypsies, the rounders, the Road Scholars, and highwaymen who, like us, yet in their own way, refused to be lorded over by the Badland Barons. However, instead of stepping through the Veil, the Cross, up onto that most magnificent road that runs up through the Gates of the Kingdom of God, they chose instead to lite out on their own; out past the point of no return they go, across the high-places of the Badlands on that serpentine switchback that, sooner or later, drops off into the Valley of the Shadow Death where they find themselves in the clutches of the very thing they did everything in their power to avoid. An old acquaintance of mine once said, “Freedom ain’t worth nothin’, but it’s free.” Truly, “That kind of freedom is fine – till you reach the end-a-the line.” ©wc …and find yourself facing the very thing you spent your whole life avoiding, the Last Flip of the Coin, “Heads, I win, Tails, you Lose”! Tricky! That Badland Magician is a tricky son of a gun!
Truth Be Told; It’s ramping up and it’s winding down. The final collision of good & evil is upon us. Don’t wait to make your decision while the coin is in the air. Don’t go “flipping coins” for your soul; It’s a “Heads I Win, Tails You Lose” Scenario. You will not win the toss. “YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.” {John 3:16} This ain’t no “Dress-Up-Sunday-Go-To-Meetin’ Charade!” No indeed! ‘Tis a far Deeper Fetch!
